Automatic and Flexible Navigation Generation
Web pages in the NexDir system are organized in a heirarchical fashion, or more precisely, a network fashion. Navigation menus are generated automatically by setting the base point for menu generation and selecting a few options. As you create new pages or re-organize existing pages, site navigation takes care of itself and you generally need pay no attention to it.
- DHTML/javascript pullout/pulldown menus are supported. These automatically fall back to nested submenus for old browsers, for viewers who have javascript disabled, or for search engine crawlers.
- Bookmarks remain valid even if you reorganize your site.
- Back button always works, unlike some systems like Microsoft's.
